In order to further implement the central government's strategy on the deep development of civil-military integration and build an all-round and integrated demonstration base of industry, education and research, the unveiling ceremony and promotion meeting of "Sichuan Testing Laboratory of Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials of China Airlines Development" was held in Deyang on October 26, marking the first joint construction of civil-military aviation materials testing in Western China. The laboratory was formally established.

Since 2014, Sichuan Engineering Vocational and Technical College has cooperated with Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials to build a certification training base and testing base for Aeronautical Materials inspectors. It has become one of the six civil-military integration projects signed by Sichuan Province and China Aviation Industry Group in 2015. After 4 years of construction, the construction tasks have been successfully completed. It is reported that the testing base will focus on providing fast material testing services for aviation enterprises in Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan to help the development of aviation industry in the western region with high quality. At the promotion meeting, "China Aeroengine Group Limited Testing and Welding Personnel Management Center Training Base" was unveiled at the same time.

The unveiling of Sichuan testing laboratory is an effective way for Sichuan to deeply integrate into the development of civil-military integration and actively explore the engineering technology experimental platform to serve the national major strategy. It is of great significance for promoting the close integration of government, industry, education and research, and promoting the development of civil-military integration.
